AirPhones is one of these simple but incredibly useful iPhone apps. It essentially allows you to use your phone as a remote speaker or wireless headphones from iTunes. It’s a great app and despite some audio stuttering works quite well. Finally, I’m able to listen to BBC Radio 3 in my kitchen by relaying the Real Audio stream from my Mac.

Forget about paying directly for music - it’s all but over as a generation grow up without buying records. We need a new model for generating revenue for artists and record companies - broadband tax anyone?
